Tricia O’Kelley Cast in CBS Comedy

Tricia O’Kelley (Nicole Leahy on Gilmore Girls) has landed a role on another CBS comedy pilot, previously having a regular role on The New Adventures of Old Christine.

The currently un-titled project centres on a blue-collar guy who wrestles with how to parent his unmarried grown daughter Eileen (Becki Newton) and her 12-year-old son while sharing a house with them as well as his wife and recently widowed mother.

Tricia will play Eileen’s older sister, who’s happily married with two well-behaved kids.

Also starring is Shane McRae and Tanner Buchanan.

Tricia O'Kelley in "The New Adventures of Old Christine"

Tricia O’Kelley, who starred on Gilmore Girls as Nicole Leahy in 8 episodes, has been starring in the CBS comedy The New Adventures of Old Christine.

For those of you who don’t recall, Nicole Leahy was Taylor’s lawyer and subsequently Luke’s girlfriend. They dated and got married on a cruise on a whim, which turned out to be bad. Nicole and Luke eventually divorce after Nicole cheats on Luke.

The New Adventures of Old Christine, currently in its 4th season, stars Julia Luis-Dreyfus as Christine, a divorced single mother and gym owner who struggles to keep up with the pace of life around her. Tricia O’Kelley’s character, Marly, is one of two mean, rich mothers whose children attend school with Christine’s son, Ritchie. Marly is one of the “queen bees” of the school, always making Christine feel inferior, prompting Christine to try to get back at them.

Since her stint on Gilmore Girls, Tricia has remained quite busy. She was lead actress in the movie Weather Girl, as well as several other movies and tv appearances.
