Sarah celebrates her 40th birthday and leans on Mr.Cyr for emotional support, while Amber strives for independence. Adam is now unemployed and struggles with the stress of providing for his pregnant wife and family and ponders a new business with Crosby. Meanwhile Julia gets frustrated with the adoption process and dreams up a bizarre scenario. Haddie’s boyfriend Alex reveals hidden information to Julia.

• I thought the time jump was perfect, in terms of getting back in touch with the characters. It gave us new aspects to enjoy
• I was quite pissed off about Julia wanting to "buy" a baby. You adopt, you don’t buy. Really bad.
• Crosby seems kind of stuck, don’t you think? Relationship wise, anyway
• I didn’t like how they portrayed Adam during his ‘off’ time. Although frustrated, it didn’t seem in character for him to be so unsupportive of his wife and also to goof off so much at home
• Why would Adam jump into business with Crosby? Do you think it would succeed?
• Do you think Alex and Haddie will last?
• What did you think of Sarah’s party?
