Krysten Ritter in a new show for the year.

Comedy shows, we have many of them in the television world. In one of those who started this year, we can see Krysten Ritter (lucy in gilmore girls).

The show is called Don’t Trust the B in Apartment 23rd
Krysten Ritter plays one of the lead roles in this comedy series.

A young woman moves to New York City and ends up with a troublemaker for a roommate.

Krysten Ritter at Operation Smile Luncheon

Krysten Ritter (Lucy on Gilmore Girls), who recently appeared at the Operation Smile Luncheon (shown), will be starring in a new series on ABC this Fall, Apartment 23, which I’m quite looking forward to. The New Yorker recently said that Krysten “is hilariously venal, a near-sociopathic trickster in a tight skirt,” so it sounds like a fun character.

The series is set to premiere in 2011, but without a premiere date, I’m thinking it’s one that begins for the Winter run.

Krysten Ritter in “All New People”

Krysten Ritter (Lucy on Gilmore Girls) recently took to the stage for the 2nd Stage Theatre production of All New People, a new play by Zach Braff.

The show ran from July 1st to August 14th with Krysten in the role of a New York party girl. In an interview with ThreaterMania, Krysten talks about her role and how she’d love to someday land on Broadway.

Summary: It’s the dead of winter and the summer vacation getaway of Long Beach Island, New Jersey is desolate and blanketed in snow. Charlie is 35, heartbroken and just wants some time away from the rest of the world. The island ghost town seems to be the perfect escape until his solitude is interrupted by a motley parade of misfits who show up and change his plans. A hired beauty, the townie fireman, and an eccentric British real estate agent desperately trying to stay in the country suddenly find themselves tangled together in a beach house where the mood is anything but sunny.

In Love Bites, loosely connected tales spin around modern romance. Anchoring one-off vignettes about love, sex, dating and marriage is a continuing story about Annie (Becki Newton), who serves as a surrogate for her sister.

“L!fe Happens” by Krysten Ritter Sets Premiere

Krysten Ritter (Lucy on Gilmore Girls) co-wrote and stars in the film L!fe Happens (previously known as BFF & Baby), set to premiere at the LA Film Festival on June 18th.

In Kat Coiro’s quick-witted and emotionally grounded comedy, L!FE HAPPENS, the social and career paths of impeccably-styled Silverlake scenesters are brought into sharp relief with the unplanned arrival of a baby. A breezy Kate Bosworth plays Deena, a sharply-mannered smart mouth writer in the style of Rosalind Russell, if Russell had a dirty mind and a recall of hip hop lyrics. Her best friend and roommate Kim, a retro beauty with a weakness for bad boys and a nowhere gig walking dogs, is portrayed by luminescent actress and co-writer Krysten Ritter. When Kim gets pregnant following a one-night stand, she and Deena resolve to maintain their carefree lifestyle, incorporating Kim’s adored baby as an adaptable accessory.

Congratulations Krysten!!

“Apartment 23″ Preview With Krysten Ritter

Krysten Ritter (Lucy on Gilmore Girls) will be starring in a new series on ABC this Fall, Apartment 23, which previously had a much longer and more controversial name. ABC has already given the series a full season order, so that’s a good sign!

After a naïve Midwestern girl’s big city dreams are dashed her first week in New York, she finds herself living with her worst nightmare in this hilarious, contemporary comedy about a female odd couple who are surrounded by an outrageous cast of characters.

June (Dreama Walker) moves to Manhattan for a dream job and the perfect company apartment, only to have them disappear in a puff of reality, thanks to a CEO from the Bernie Madoff school of embezzlement. Deep in debt and out on the streets, June scrambles to land a job and place to live. It seems her luck has turned around when she gets hired at a coffee shop and finds Chloe (Krysten Ritter), a charming, vivacious roommate… with the morals of a pirate. She swindles June out of all her savings, but she and her snarky friend, James Van Der Beek (playing himself), soon learn that, just because June’s naïve, she isn’t stupid. June ingeniously turns the tables on Chloe, who is so shocked about being scammed herself that she decides to pull June into her colorful band of friends. Sure, it’s all dysfunctional, bizarre and overwhelming, but so is New York City. And with the help of Chloe and the other oddballs around her, June might just learn the survival secrets she needs to make it there.

The series co-stars Dreama Walker, Eric Andrew, Michael Blaiklock and James Van Der Beek.
