Billy Burke “Made the [wedding] scene” on Twilight

Billy Burke (Alex Lesman on Gilmore Girls) has been starring as Charlie Swan in the Twilight saga, and his co-stars have been raving about his upcoming role in the latest film, Breaking Dawn, where he walks daughter Bella down the aisle to marry her vampire boyfriend. Co-star Robert Pattinson says:

“I think [Billy Burke] made that scene really great because he had to walk her down the aisle, and I think he really did a great job.”

Billy also had nothing but nice things to share about his on-screen daughter, actress Kristin Stewart, sharing this funny story of how they met:

“I met her for the first time on the plane up to Portland. I tapped her on the shoulder and said ‘Hi. I’m your dad.’ She thought I was a stalker. Despite that, since then I think we’ve gotten along pretty well. I think she’s an extremely rare talent.”

Billy Burke in “Red Riding Hood”

Billy Burke (Alex Lesman on Gilmore Girls) stars in the new adaptation of the classic tale, Red Riding Hood. The film is set in a medieval village that is haunted by a werewolf, where a young girl falls for an orphaned woodcutter, much to her family’s displeasure.

Billy Burke stars as Cesaire, though I don’t know his exact role. The film comes out in March of this year.

Billy Burke (Alex Lesman on Gilmore Girls) was seen out twice this week; first at the Vh1 Save the Music Foundation Gala, where he spoke, and next at the premiere of ‘The Next Three Days’. He attended both events with wife Pollyanna Rose.

Billy Burke (Alex Lesman on Gilmore Girls) stars in the action thriller Drive Angry, a 3D movie slated for a 2011 release. The film is about a vengeful father who chases after the men who killed his daughter and took her baby. He has three days to stop them before they sacrifice her baby beneath a full moon.

Billy Burke in “Ticket Out”

Billy Burke (Alex Lesman on Gilmore Girls) co-stars in the film Ticket Out, a chase thriller about a young mom who must use radical measures to protect her children.

The movie is “set in the topical and controversial “underground railway” that aids spouses fleeing from abusive and potentially homicidal mates, and explores the paradox between being morally right and legally wrong. In a sensitive portrayl, Jocelyn, a recently divorced mother with little self-reliance who must rise to the challenge of protecting her children from their powerful, and dangerously abusive father, Dennis.
