I know that I personally get a little misty-eyed this time of year, missing all the wonderful Gilmore Girls episodes around winter and Christmas. Those were always my favourites. Here’s a fan video on Gilmore Girls Christmases that really moved me:

Sometimes I like to get nostalgic and look on YouTube for new Gilmore Girls fan videos. They are not as common as they used to be, but I like this one, titled ‘Breathe In, Breathe Out, after the song by Mat Kearney:

In honor of National Coffee Day (September 29), BuddyTV put together a list of the most caffeinated characters on TV. TVs Top 10 Coffee Drinkers places Lorelai & Rory in at #1 – where they deserve to be, of course!!
“It’s entirely possible that coffee, not blood, ran in the veins of this mother and daughter. Only caffeine could be responsible for that number of pop culture references.”
Also in honor of this coffee-themed day, TV Squad featured a mash-up of Lorelai’s love of coffee:
“On ‘The Gilmore Girls,’ Lorelai (Lauren Graham) always needed coffee right now and often stopped by Luke’s Diner for her fix. Her addiction to caffeine was established in the very first episode, when she begged friend Luke Danes for a coffee and he told her she had a problem.”
A big Gilmore Girls fan, Freestars, who comments here regularly, just put together this photo montage of the first season of the series. The music used was something improvised while thinking of the series and how sad it was to end. Check it out:

I’ve been spending a lot of time on YouTube lately looking at Gilmore Girls fan videos. I came across one compilation of video clips that I just *had* to share. Too funny. The title should say it all: “Gilmore Girls (Dirty Moments)”

Almost all of the scenes involve Lorelai and Luke in some way, so I don’t know if there are more dirty moments outside of these in Gilmore Girls. I know I often find things funny and flirty in the show, but I can’t think of any specific incidents right now. Can you? Or did they mostly give the dirty jokes to Lorelai when she’s with Luke?
