A few weeks ago we could see Jared Padalecki jump around on the streets of New York.

Speaking of Jared Padalecki, Supernatural begins October 3, not many days left…
The first episode on their eighth season will call themselves “Heartache“.

So what do you think of Supernaturals eighth season? Will it be the last, or do you think the series will not end up in a long time? For all supernatural fans, I can only say that there is always a chance for a season nine but there has also been talking about season eight might be the series’ final season. The only way to know the answer of course, is to wait and see what happens with the series.

“Supernatural” Season 7 Trailer & On-Set Photos

Jared Padalecki (Dean Forester on Gilmore Girls returns for the 7th season of Supernatural on The CW starting on Friday, September 23rd. In this season, Castiel is adapting to his new role as God and trying to do ‘right’ – or what he deems right, anyway. Sam & Dean may disagree! Here’s a preview of the new season:

Jared talked with EW about the upcoming season, including how Sam is dealing with his ‘wall’ in his head being smashed to pieces. And he also talks about the most important question of all – his hair. They definitely do plan it!

Here are a few on-set photos of Jared filming the new season, as well as a video after the jump.

Jared Padalecki at Comic-Con & Supernatural S. 7 Teaser

Jared Padalecki (Dean Forester on Gilmore Girls and his co-star Jensen Ackles recently supported the upcoming 7th season of Supernatural at Comic-Con 2011. The panel addresses the big Season 6 cliffhanger for Jared’s character Sam and what we can expect to be the new “bad” focus of the season. It may even be the scariest season yet!

Supernatural returns on September 23rd – check out the teaser trailer they just released!!

Here are some videos of Jared from Comic-Con, including the full panel:

There are also some great interviews with Jared about the season here and here.

Jared Padalecki Would Make a Gilmore Girls Movie

Jared Padalecki (Dean Forester on Gilmore Girls) was recently interviewed by Zap2it about the current state of Supernatural and his thoughts on a potential Gilmore Girls movie.

As Jared shares in the interview, he considers himself to be a very loyal person. For that reason, we won’t see him vacating his fans on Supernatural, just like he would support Gilmore Girls fans again, if it came to it. Would Jared Padalecki make a Gilmore Girls movie?

“One hundred percent!” he says. “I would love to. I really would truly love to. It was so fun. I have nothing but fond memories of that show. I came to it straight out of high school, I grew up on the show, and I’d love to go revisit that character.”

We love you Jared, thanks for all the continued support to your fans! :)

“Supernatural” Renewed for Season 7

Supernatural, which has seen a big boost in ratings (up 66%!!) and viewers since its move to Friday nights, has been renewed for its 7th season.

The 6th season is set to wrap up at the end of May, and it’s been a great season, in my opinion. I have preferred it to the 5th season, which felt like it was dragging out the Devil / God line too much. However, despite an over-arching theme to all of Season 6, with The Mother, I haven’t felt that here. There have been enough oddball episodes and monster fighting to keep it ‘light’, you know?

All of this is good news, as it means we’ll still have our regular dose of Jared Padalecki (Dean Forester on Gilmore Girls) on tv!

BuddyTV has a list of some of the things they’d like to see in the next season(s) of Supernatural, which I agree with. I love that the series can be so creative in its wacky episodes – the Western, the ‘real’ Jared & Jensen, and all of the fan extras tucked into the series.

Katie Walder on “Supernatural”

As previously mentioned, Katie Walder (Janet Billings on Gilmore Girls) made her first in a series of guest appearances on Supernatural with Jared Padalecki (Dean Forester on Gilmore Girls). Katie played the role of Fate, who was quite disgruntled by the fact that the apocalypse didn’t happen.

Here’s a scene where Sam & Dean are trying to find Fate. Oddly enough, this was filmed about 6 blocks from my house – I wish I’d known!!

Katie Walder to Guest on “Supernatural”

Katie Walder (Janet Billings on Gilmore Girls) is set to guest star in an upcoming episode of Supernatural with Jared Padalecki (Dean Forester on Gilmore Girls). Katie stars in the April 15th episode ‘My Heart Will Go On’ as Fate, who intervenes after things go awry with historical events:

After Balthazar (guest star Sebastian Roche) changes history and keeps the Titanic from sinking, Fate (guest star Katie Walder) intervenes and begins killing those that would have died on the ship. Castiel (Misha Collins) tells Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) that Fate is very upset with the two of them and the only way they can stay alive is to kill her. Mike Rohl directed the episode written by Bret Matthews (618).

This will be a recurring role on Supernatural for Katie.

According to her fan page, Katie also recently guest starred on Mad Love on CBS as Tyler Labine’s obsession: The White Whale.
