Edward Herrmann on “Drop Dead Diva”

After Emily Kuroda (Mrs. Kim on Gilmore Girls) guest starred for her second time on Drop Dead Diva last week, Edward Herrmann (Richard Gilmore on Gilmore Girls) made an appearance on the show last night.

In the episode, Parker represents his ex-girlfriend against an insurance company that refuses to pay out her father’s life-insurance policy. Meanwhile, Kim falls for a controversial pastor who lands in jail while trying to help the poor; and Fred and Stacy face an uncertain future after he sees her kissing her costar.

I haven’t seen the episode yet, so I’m not sure who Edward plays.

Katie Walder on “NTSF:SD:SUV”

Katie Walder (Janet Billings on Gilmore Girls) guest stars on the 6th episode in the first season of the Adult Swim series NTSF:SD:SUV The series seems to spoof a bunch of other acronym-based police procedurals we know an love, with the title of the “National Terrorism Strike Force: San Diego: Sport Utility Vehicle”. The show runs 15-minute episodes that are “ripped from the headlines and full of suspense, action, drama, cliffhangers, yelling, passionate love-making, more yelling, death and plenty of pregnant pauses”.

In the August 25th episode, ‘Tijuana, We’ve Got A Problem,’ “a stripper-astronaut steals the space shuttle plans and sells them to Mexico. Now NTSF must go into Mexico and stop the evil President Felipe Calderon before they beat the U.S.A. in the space race.”

Katie also tweeted that she’s going to be guest starring on ABC’s new Man Up.

Chad Michael Murray Returns to “One Tree Hill”

Ever since his 2009 exit from One Tree Hill, fans have been eager for Chad Michael Murray (Tristan Dugray on Gilmore Girls) to return.

Chad announced to his twitter followers today that his character, Luke, would be returning for a single episode in this 9th and last season of One Tree Hill.

According to E!, Lucas returns because his best friend is in need of some help. Haley reaches out to him, perhaps because her brother has gone missing, or perhaps for other reasons.

Emily Kuroda on “Drop Dead Diva” Tonight

Emily Kuroda (Mrs. Kim on Gilmore Girls) is making her second appearance on the series Drop Dead Diva as the mother of Margaret Cho’s character, Teri. Her first episode was in Season 2, and her second episode airs tonight for Season 3 for the 10th episode, ‘Toxic.’

In today’s episode, Teri’s childhood tormentor Marcie LaRose, who is now a high-profile and brutally honest dating and makeover guru from hell, dresses down Jane in one of her seminars. Teri seeks revenge and finds herself in court going at it once again with Marcie. Meanwhile, Jane talks a man off a ledge who is not as crazy as he seems, and with Grayson’s help, they defend him in court despite Parker’s demands that she drop the case.

Lauren Graham on “The Marriage Ref”

Lauren Graham (Lorelai Gilmore on Gilmore Girls) made a guest appearance on NBC’s The Marriage Ref on Sunday. The comedy panel series pits real-life married couples against a panel of celebrity “experts” who judge their disputes and weigh in on who is right.

Milo Ventimiglia Cameo in “Fight For Your Right Revisisted”

Milo Ventimiglia (Jess Mariano on Gilmore Girls) had a short cameo as a cafe patron in the short film, Fight For Your Right Revisited.

The short video was created as a conclusion to the Beastie Boys’ “Fight For Your Right” music video. In the conclusion, the Beasties break into a liquor store, drop acid with groupies and get into a breakdance competition with time-traveling future versions of themselves.

The video was a fun one with other mega stars attaching themselves for fun including Elijah Wood, Seth Rogen, Danny McBride and more.

Milo can be seen at about 8:30 in the video trying to protect his date from the fight.

Krysten Ritter on “Love Bites” Premiere

Krysten Ritter (Lucy on Gilmore Girls) guest starred tonight in the new NBC series Love Bites. Krysten guest starred in the episode as Cassie, best pal to Annie and who is masquerading as a virgin in the episode.
