Emily Bergl (Francie Jarvis on Gilmore Girls) stars in the 2011 film Grassroots, described as “a hilarious, bittersweet, true story of the 2001 Seattle City Council race.” The story follows an unemployed journalist who helps his oddball friend (oddball in that he likes to dress as a polar bear!) bid to earn a place on the Council.

Tanc Sade (Finn on Gilmore Girls) has completed filming Not That Funny, a love story “about a woman who ‘just wants someone who makes her laugh’ and a man who is not that funny. As he tries to learn how to be the man she says she wants, they each find an unexpected chance at happiness.”
The film stars John Kapelos, Tony Hale, Brigid Brannagh and Timothy V. Murphy. Tanc plays the role of Tyler who is the foil to the lead character, Kevork (John Kapelos).
According to their Facebook page, Not That Funny should be coming out this winter.
Last week we saw our first photos of Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore on Gilmore Girls) on-set for Violet & Daisy, a film in which she plays one of two teenage assassins who find out their latest target is not quite what they expected. Here are some new stills from the shooting as well as some of Alexis walking to/from the sets:
Just recently I posted news that Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore on Gilmore Girls) had been cast as a lead in the film Violet & Daisy, a film in which she plays one of two teenage assassins who find out their latest target is not quite what they expected.
The film, which co-stars Saoirse Ronan as Daisy, began filming this week in New York.

Krysten Ritter (Lucy on Gilmore Girls) attended the premiere of ”Wall Street: Money Never Stops” at the Ziegfeld Theater in New York City last night.

As previously mentioned, Adam Brody (Dave Rygalski on Gilmore Girls) joined the cast of Scream 4 (Scre4m) as a cop recently out of college and who was raised watching the CSI tv series.

Keiko Agena (Lane Kim on Gilmore Girls) has begun work on a short horror film called Road Rage, written and directed by Barbara Stepansky. Keiko shared a photo of her in her make-up on the set:
As of yet, there are no details released on Road Rage, but I’ll keep you updated!
