“Thrilled by this extraordinary source of free money, John and Alice start to figure out ways to hurt themselves, each other and eventually others. But as the pain, both physical and emotional, escalates, John and Alice begin to realize they are on a slippery slope…

A magical and offbeat dark comedy, THE BRASS TEAPOT is also a hilarious fable about temptation and the lengths to which people will go for money.”

The film is based on a comic book series and is expected to have a 2012 release.

Melissa McCarthy Works on “Tammy”

Melissa McCarthy (Sookie on Gilmore Girls) has many projects on the go right now – what a fantastic year for her! Aside from starring in Mike & Molly, and starting her own plus-sized fashion line, she is co-creating a new comedy series for CBS, is tapped for a new Judd Apatow film, and sold her first script to Paramount Pictures.

In addition to all of that awesomeness, Melissa is now in talks with Tate Taylor (director of The Help) for a film called Tammy for New Line Cinema.

According to the news, the comedy project was created by Melissa McCarthy with husband Ben Falcone. The project centres on an “overweight woman who is laid off from her job at Hardee’s, discovers her husband is having an affair, and decides to go on a road trip with her alcoholic, foul-mouthed, diabetic grandmother.”

Bizarre, but fun.

Arielle Kebbel Joins “90210″

Arielle Kebbel (Lindsay Lister then Forester on Gilmore Girls) has been cast in a recurring role for 90210. She will play Vanessa, a “charismatic, edgy and vivacious former bad girl who enjoys a little risk-taking now and again.”

Arielle’s arc in the series will begin airing this December.

Do you watch 90210? Who do you think Vanessa may be a love interest for?
