In our last trivia question, we asked What is the name of the Yale Bulldog?

Gilmore Girls Trivia: Yale Bulldog

Gilmore Girls Fight FaceIn our last trivia question, we asked:What is Paul Anka (the dog) called before Lorelai adopts him?

  • Lucy 17 – 4% of all votes
  • Patch 42 – 11% of all votes

That’s right! In ‘Fight Face‘, Lorelai falls in love with a shaggy dog named Coco when she’s missing Rory. However, Coco was “too cutesy” of a name, so she names him Paul Anka!

I know how much everyone here loves the Gilmore Girls trivia polls that I’ve been running for a few months. Well, Parade.com gave me the chance to expand that! I put together a 25-question quiz for them all about Gilmore Girls, which you can take here:

Gilmore Girls Trivia: Dean's Contribution

In our last Gilmore Girls trivia question, we asked: What does Rory tell Emily her favorite flower is?

  • Daisy 76 – 19% of all votes

In ‘Emily in Wonderland‘, Emily calls Rory to ask for her favorite color, flower and boy band. She asks Rory, “Which would you say you like better, roses or lilies?”, to which Rory replies “Hmmm, sunflowers.” The daisy is Lorelai’s favorite flower.

Gilmore Girls Trivia: Rory's Favorite Flower

In our last Gilmore Girls trivia question, we asked: Lorelai is late to Friday night dinner because she gets stuck behind a slow driver who had a "Honk if you love to ___" bumper sticker on the car

  • Scuba Dive 335 – 80% of all votes
  • Sky Dive 33 – 8% of all votes
  • Mountain Climb 15 – 4% of all votes
  • Break Dance 37 – 9% of all votes

This trivia question looks back to the episode ‘You Jump, I Jump, Jack when Lorelai is late to Friday dinner. She was stuck behind a car with the “honk if you love to scuba dive” sticker, so she honked.

“I’ve been testing people who have “honk” bumper stickers lately to see if they really want people to honk. Guess what? They don’t. I lay on my horn, and this alleged scuba diver slows to a crawl in front of me just out of revenge, and I’m screwed.”

A fun experiment, though I’m not sure I’d want to try it either! And now, our next trivia question comes from Halle:

Gilmore Girls Trivia: The Bumper Sticker

The New and Improved Lorelai GilmoreLet’s look at the results from our previous trivia question: What did Luke & Lorelai toast their engagement with?

  • Smirnoff Ice 28 – 8% of all votes
  • Champagne 7 – 2% of all votes
  • Weizenbier 25 – 7% of all votes
  • Zima 307 – 84% of all votes
    Total Votes: 367

The majority are correct!! Luke and Lorelai desperately scour the town for champagne, but they best they can find is some Zima that Taylor had stashed at Doose’s. Zima is an “alcopop”, a lemon-lime drink.
