Are you like me who actually like Max with Lorelai? Lorelai’s first choice was always between Luke and Chris. I never cared about who she would

choose in the end. I liked Luke, but I also liked Chris. But in all honesty, I also liked Max a lot. He was always a good man.

The man who plays Max named Scott Cohen. Scott has appeared in several television series in the recent past. Yesterday (and the week before) we could see him in a new TV show called Carrie daries. Here he plays a friend of the main character’s father.

Scott Cohen to Guest on “Pan Am”

Scott Cohen (Max Medina on Gilmore Girls) currently stars in the USA Network series, Necessary Roughness, which premiered at the end of July and has helped the network celebrate its biggest summer ever.

In addition to starring in his new successful show, Scott has been cast as a guest star on Pan Am this fall. Pan Am is a new ABC television series centred around the iconic airline Pan American World Airways during the 1960s. The series premieres on September 25th.

Scott has been cast as the vice president on Pan Am, Everett. His 3-episode arc on the series will begin in the 4th episode of the series. His character is said to be quite “skeevy” – he has a mistress, despite being a “serious man who is light and fun on the surface.”

Vanessa Marano’s “Switched at Birth” A Hit

Vanessa Marano (April Nardini on Gilmore Girls) currently stars in the recently-premiered new series on ABC Family, Switched at Birth. The series was recently given additional episodes for the first season, bringing it up to 32 episodes for Season 1, with the remainder to air in January 2012. A good prospect for the series. Vanessa herself was nominated for a Teen Choice Award for her role, though she did not win for ‘Choice Summer TV Star’.

Vanessa recently talked all about the show, including how she feels about learning sign language, here. There was one Gilmore Girls question, which I’ll share:

“Necessary Roughness” with Scott Cohen Sets Premiere Date

Scott Cohen (Max Medina on Gilmore Girls) stars in the upcoming USA Network series Necessary Roughness, now set to premiere on June 29th at 10pm. Hopefully he’ll have more success with this series than he did with The Return of Jezebel James!

Summary: Dr. Dani Santino (Callie Thorne) seems to have it all figured out: she’s got a beautiful home, a successful husband, two great kids, and a satisfying career as a psychotherapist. But when she catches her husband cheating, Dani’s perfect world begins to unravel. Fortunately, Dani’s counseling skills soon land her a gig as the team therapist for the local football franchise, the New York Hawks, and before she can say “Hail Mary” Dani has managed to help the team’s star wide receiver and become the most sought-after therapist on Long Island, with high-profile clients from athletes to entertainers clamoring for her unique brand of therapy. But though her career is reenergized, it doesn’t take Dani long to realize that balancing the demands of work and family won’t be easy. It’s a good thing she’s tough, because one thing’s for sure: Dani’s about to have a whole lot of new issues to tackle.

Scott Cohen stars as a sports “fixer” for the Hawks, Nico. He has no problem getting his hands dirty and turns up often with emergency assignments for Dani.

As previously mentioned, Scott Cohen (Max Medina on Gilmore Girls) will soon be starring in the new USA series, Necessary Roughness, which will premiere on June 29th, 2011. Here is the first trailer for the series:

Necessary Roughness centers on tough, sexy Long Island divorcee Danielle Santino (Callie Thorne), who, to make ends meet, becomes the therapist for a professional football team and quickly becomes sought after by other athletes, musicians, politicians and those living in the spotlight. Cohen will play a “fixer” for a football franchise who works closely with Danielle.

Scott Cohen on “Blue Bloods”

Scott Cohen (Max Medina on Gilmore Girls) guest starred on the CBS series Blue Bloods on November 12th in the episode, ‘Chinatown’.

The episode followed Danny and Jackie (Donnie Wahlberg and Jennifer Esposito) as they strive to solve a murder and clear Jamie. Scott guest starred in the episode as Dr. Warren Wakefield.

Scott Cohen in “Capture the Flag”

Scott Cohen (Max Medina on Gilmore Girls) stars in the short film, Capture the Flag a story about a teenage girl, Annie, and her father (Luke Edwards played by Scott Cohen), who gather with friends for an annual game of capture the flag. With Annie’s parents near divorce, and her mother not on the trip, the trip starts to disintegrate. Adult friendships break down and new allegiances between children are formed.
