Liza Weil is Truly Pregnant

Liza Weil (Paris Gellar on Gilmore Girls) has been playing a pregnant shrink on Anyone But Me. Turns out, in fact, that it really is the truth – Liza Weil is expecting her first baby on April 20th!!

Huffington Post recently interviewed Liza’s husband and fellow actor, Paul Adelstein, about his upcoming parenthood. He plans to be completely hands on, saying he’s “not looking forward to seeing wifey uncomfortable or in pain” during the delivery of their upcoming baby.

Congratulations Liza & Paul! As a new mom myself, I can say it’s quite the roller coaster!!

Liza Weil in “Mars”

Liza Weil (Paris Gellar on Gilmore Girls) stars in the movie Mars, an animated comedy film from writer / director Geoff Marslett. The film centers on a love story between two astronauts aboard the first manned mission to Mars – hence the title.

“MARS is a uniquely animated romantic comedy about astronauts and robots falling in love on their way to the red planet. Told in the playful style of a graphic novel, MARS is equal parts character driven story, homage to our galactic neighbor, and exploration of why we explore.”

Mars, the film, just had its world premiere at the South by Southwest Film Festival, SXSW 2010.

Liza Weil stars in the film as Jewel, co-host of a cheesy morning show. The film was shot on a green screen, so Jewel takes on the mannerisms and actions as Liza acts them out.

Liza Weil Returns to “Anyone But Me”

Liza Weil (Paris Gellar on Gilmore Girls) made her second guest appearance on the webseries Anyone But Me last night. In her first appearance, we saw Liza appear as Aster’s pregnant shrink, Dr. Glass. Liza has returned for the 6th episode, ‘The Things We Know’, and you can see her right at the beginning of the video below:

Liza Weil in “Anyone But Me”

Liza Weil (Paris Gellar on Gilmore Girls) made her first guest appearance last night in the webseries Anyone But Me, a series which follows the life of a group of teenagers including Vivian, a 16-year-old lesbian who moves away and tries to maintain a friendship with girlfriend Aster as well as establishing new social ties.

Liza appeared in the season 2 episode “Girl Talk” playing a pregnant shrink – she’ll be back for more episodes later this season, too. Word from Twitter is all glowing in praise of her guest spot. What did you think?

Liza Weil on "Grey's Anatomy"

Liza Weil (Paris Geller on Gilmore Girls) guest starred last night in the incredible 2-hour season finale of Grey’s Anatomy.

Yeah, it was an episode with drama. MAJOR drama. My jaw dropped at the end, that’s for sure. Liza Weil guest starred in the episode as Allison, a cancer patient who is close friends with Izzie. She serves as an inspiration for Izzie, her tumors having disappeared without surgical intervention. However, there’s an unexpected dramatic even there too. However, my favorite part was when Allison was checking out Alex’s butt. Too cute.

Liza Weil (Paris Geller on Gilmore Girls) will be guest starred on USA Network’s In Plain Sight last night.


Liza Weil as Angela, Mary McCormack as Mary Shannon, Ellen Holman as Alice, Will Estes as Henry

Liza appeared in ‘Gilted Lily’ as Angela. In the episode, US Marshals Mary Shannon (Mary McCormack) and Marshall Mann (Fred Weller) come back together to help another witness. Mary’s post-traumatic-stress disorder kicks up while they’re on the case. As you can see from the video below, Liza’s character Angela is very sick at the start of the episode, possibly poisoned.
