Where to Catch the Gimore Girls Cast Post “A Year in the Life”


This is not a comprehensive list, intended instead to provide a snapshot of upcoming appearances by many of your favorite Gilmore Girls alum on TV, movies, the web, stage or hootenanny:

Lauren Graham (Lorelai) will star in a pilot for Fox called Linda from HR (playing Linda), plus has a recurring role in the upcoming return of Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Alexis Bledel (Rory) is taking a dramatic turn in Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale starting April 26.


Scott Patterson (Luke) has a new single “Forgotten Hero” with his band SmithRadio, plus has a new film Yellow Fever with Jenna Ushkowitz (Glee) to be shown next month at the Sonoma International Film Festival.

Melissa McCarthy (Sookie) continues to surprise with her recent SNL appearances, and has two upcoming movies, Can You Forgive Me? with Jennifer Westerfeldt and Jane Curtin and Life of the Party with Julie Bowen and Maya Rudolph; she is also producing the series Nobodies for TVLand, premiering March 29th.

Keiko Agena (Lane) will co-star in the movie Beauty Shop with Mo’Nique and Taraji P. Henson, as well as USA Network’s Colony.

Sean Gunn (Kirk) will be at the center of the Marvel Universe, reprising his roles as Kraglin and the motion-capturing Rocket Raccoon in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Avengers: Infinity War plus he has an indie film called Different Flowers.

Yanic Truesdale (Michel) will appear in an episode of The Catch on ABC, starring Peter Krause (Lauren Graham’s partner).

Liza Weil (Paris) continues to scare us in How To Get Away With Murder and has an upcoming film called Medicine Men.

Rose Abdoo (Gypsy/Berta) is very much in demand with no more than eight projects listed on her IMDB for 2016.  Hopefully, she’ll return to Scandal.

Danny Strong (Doyle) continues his multihyphenate career with writing, directing and producing for Empire and doing the same for a film called Rebel in the Eye; if that weren’t enough, he is appearing in two episodes of the Showtime series Billions.

Milo Ventimiglia (Jess) is back on TV again with the phenomenal success of NBC’s This is Us.

Jared Padalecki (Dean) is currently appearing in the 13th season of CW’s Supernatural with no end in sight.

“Fan-favorite” Vanessa Marano (April) continues with the final season of her series Switched at Birth on Freeform.

Sally Struthers (Babette) is appearing in a musical film, Still Waiting in the Wings, with Ed Asner.

Emily Kuroda (Mrs. Kim) continues to pursue her passion which is theatre, recently appearing in Tiger Style! at the Huntington Theatre Company in Boston.

Todd Lowe (Zack) regularly appears in the web series Ave 43 and appears onstage with his band, The LA Hootenanny.
