Scott Patterson Teases There Could Be Another Final Four Words

In an interview with WhoSay, Scott Patterson talks about Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life: what it was like for Lorelai to propose (again!), the format of the wedding, whether he expected Lorelai & Luke to get married, the whole baby thing (and whether that’s off the table for if there are future episodes), and a discussion of those final four words.

“There might be another final four words, maybe. I don’t know.”

We know that Scott was one of the biggest supporters in getting Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life onto air and it looks like he’s up there as a mega supporter of a Season 2 for Netflix. Let’s keep our voices heard!

In the remainder of the interview, Scott talks about what the future may hold for Rory. Who is the father? How could Jess make a comeback (though I dislike the idea of Rory needing to be ‘saved.’)?

Here is a longer WhoSay interview with Scott Patterson about his music, a less-spoilery take on Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, including his favourite moments from both the original and new series. This is one of the few times Scott Patterson talks very deeply and insightfully about plot lines and his character!

While on the roll with Scott Patterson, here’s another recent interview with Young Hollywood, this one talking a bit more about the fandom and Scott’s oddest fan experience:

Please, please, don’t let good TV disappear. I can’t think of another TV show that has this kind of devotion. Can you? Maybe, just maybe, other networks will “catch on” and try to give us this kind of quality TV.

Everything just felt so unfinished to me. Those CANNOT be the last four words. What happened with Logan? Rory’s career? Emily? SO many questions! Plus, we did NOT enjoy nearly enough coffee binges in this new series. Let’s have a great ending, folks. ;)

I hope there’s more, I have truly enjoyed watching the repeats and the new revival …also it would be nice to see Lorelai and Luke kiss and cuddle a bit more…that was the only fault I found with the revival.

YES! More Gilmore girls! Please! The first little bit of this first episode I thought it wasn’t going to work. But then they hit their stride and they were back. Loved this. Want some conflict but I also want Logan to step up and sonata Christopher didn’t do marry Rory!!! Lol
