The Life & Death Brigade & Dancers

Share

A couple of days ago, we showed you some behind-the-scenes photos of a bunch of dancers. Due to the presences of Sutton Foster in one of the photos, we presumed that the dancers were related to the show-within-a-show, Stars Hollow: The Musical. However, it appears that dance may play another OR additional role within Gilmore Girls: Seasons. A role with the Life & Death Brigade. In fact, new images suggest strongly some sort of dancing involving the Life & Death Brigade!!

Dancers in the ensemble include Artem Chigvinstev, who won Strictly Come Dancing in Season 8, and Brittany Cherry, who was a contestant on So You Think You Can Dance, Season 10, among many other elite dancers. Let me walk you through the whole timeline involving dancers, just to sum it up.

First, we have Tanc Sade sharing a behind-the-scenes photo of himself with Matt Czuchry, with Nick Holmes offering the un-cropped version you see above, saying that Alan Loayza, who plays Colin, was late to the shot.

Next, we have these suggestive images of Tanc Sade taking tango lessons. Now, he doesn’t say it’s for Gilmore Girls, it could also be for his new show Roadies, but let’s put that together with the rest of the information.

Nick Holmes shares the following suggestive tweets about a major Life & Death Brigade event:

My earlier guess for the last tweet was “bachelor party,” but now I’m thinking it’s the dancers! Just WHAT does that mean, though?

Here’s one of those dancers (Rachael Markarian) POSING with Matt Czuchry and Alan Loayza, confirming the involvement of both groups in some way:

And finally, to sum up, here is the photo of the dancers we had earlier. Do any look like Tanc’s “tango instructor,” whose name is Loriel Hennington?

Such a great day rehearsing with amazing dancers & my creative partners @lolodva & @jhuds86 #gilmoregirls #gilmoregirlsrevival

This tango scene seems really big. Its such elaborately planning, with a group of elite dancers and tanc learning the tango 2 weeks before. I feel like this is a big moment in the GG revival. Also the picture that one of the dancers posted on instagram had to be taken down because it showed part of the set revealed a little of the mood of the tango scene. The photo seemed to show a set that looked like private room/area of a club. I’m also going to speculate that with Mitchum showing up in the revival that Logan goes back to his father and takes up his legacy. I just hope ASP continues logan as work dork instead of a grownup party animal she made him to be in season 6. Logan deserves more to portrayed as a guy who never wants to grow up, he deserves success on his own terms. I think by ASP saying that he’s a guy who never broke free of the influence of his family and the LDB, she might develop his character even more in the revival. Also, by matt saying we’ll have closure, I hope we will know what direction his relationship with rory is going to end up like.

I wish Amy would just say who if anyone Rory ends up with. Get all the fan wars and disappointments out of the way before the revival airs. That way people will just be able to enjoy it for what it is. I hate this roller coaster.

Will Someone on twitter ask Nick Holmes if he is crying happy or sad tears?

I’m team Jess, but I’m figuring it’s Logan based on everything I’ve read. I’ll enjoy the revival regardless, I am absolutely certain. (But yes, maybe spoiling that particular news would be a good idea.)

I took Matt’s comment on fan receiving closure as we’ll finally get to see the ending Amy envisioned all along. I really didn’t take it to mean a closure/ending on the Rory/Logan relationship. I guess it really depends on how you read into it.
