Prop Reveals Major Spoiler

Share

This just in, a spoiler SO MAJOR that I can’t even feature it on the homepage. Check out this from the props department:

This comes via Instagram, care of gilmoregirlsonly and Sarah on Twitter and Jordan on Instagram.

The prop spells out a confirmed ****** on Gilmore Girls, so the question remains: who for? The guesses being Lorelai and Luke, though we presume they already did that, or Rory & ___, with this news propping Logan higher up on the potentials list.

What’s your guess??

I hope Rory doesn’t end up being married. I think I like it being left up in the air…

it better not be Logan. If it’s not Jess, this revival will turn out to be utterly pointless.

Why would anyone but Jess be pointless? The revival is not all about Rory’s lovelife. This coming from a #teamlogan.

I hope it’s not Luke and Lorelai’s wedding. I was hoping they’d already gotten married between when the show finished and now, and maybe had a kid or two as well.

Why are people so in love with Jess? In s6, yes he’s awesome but in s2-4 he’s a jackass!

I really hope it is Rory and Logan!!!! Logan was the only one who mentally challenged Rory and pushed her to step outside her box! Jess was a jerk the whole time and while he might have grown up he enjoyed throwing a monkey wrench in Rory’s life he did not treat Rory nice. For crying out loud he almost raped her in the one episode! How anyone would want her to be with someone who almost forced her to have sex is beyond me!!! Besides I really think Rory Loved Logan. That was the one she truly loved during the whole series.

My guess agrees with yours – most likely to be Rory (as, surely, L&L are married?) and ups Logan’s odds. For the wedding to be the last episode and the LDB to be there – it seems most likely that they are Logan’s guests.

    Onto the howevers:
    – These episodes are double-length (right?) so the LDB may be in the non-wedding half.
    – In GG world things, including weddings, rarely go smoothly.
    – After eight (?) unseen years and this further ninth year of seasons happening in the meantime I’m making a lot of assumptions about Rory’s relationship with the LDB and various marital statuses!

It seem we all really want Luke and Lorelai to already be married, so we are hoping the wedding is for Rory and someone else. The prop looks expensive right? Which is what leads us to the idea that Logan has better odds of being the groom, but we are overlooking one possibility… Emily is getting remarried. Considering the actor that plays Richard passed away in 2014 and we know Lorelai and Emily have always had some issues perhaps this will be something the two but heads over.

Also I have a theory about Rory’s possible groom, in the finale we say good bye to Rory before she heads off on the campaign trail with future President Obama. While it’s common knowledge that candidates travel around the U.S. having rallies and giving speeches, it maybe less known that during his 2008 campaign Obama had a rally in Pensylvania… where Jess was. I think they met up during or after the rally and now that she was actually single they hit it off and rest is history.

Also how cool would it be if Obama had a chameo, like since his terms are coming to an end she is reporting on the upcoming elections and just has a quick interview with him or something lol

Compering both pictures it seems to me the shooting is scheduled on March 18.
I mean: in the second pic we see cleary “18”.
In the first one there’s something weird. If it’s a “10” then the 0 has been written oddly.
So much so that it’s possible a 0 wrote at first (maybe due to a mystake) was adjusted into a 8 adding a smaller circle..
So tking into account all, I bet them both are 18.

If I’m right, the shooting day for the moment does not revel nothing more than a wedding is going to be filmed. And it could be Rory and ? or Lorelai and Luke (if Vanessa Marano will be confirmed in the finale episode, then I’ll say Lorelai and Luke, and the wedding the reason of her character to be back in fall)
I’m one of hose feeling it would be weird if Lorelai and Luke aren’t already wed at the beginning of the new episodes, but I also know that thousand of fans wish they could see this wedding. Maybe a vows renewal it’s a good solution….

There is no point if Rory marries Logan. She could have married him at the end of the original series. Rory is NOT Mrs Huntzburger. She had far more chemistry and in common with Jess than Logan. Logan was a collage thrill but never a future husband. I don’t think he ever got her passions nor how important her work was or even how important his own would be to him. Logan started earning a lot of money quickly and he would have gone back to his father’s company, earning millions, responsible for many livelihoods and Rory’s career would have played second fiddle. She worked too hard for it to be that way, If Rory ends up with Logan it will be a huge mistake!! TEAM JESS!

It actually wouldn’t make sense for it to be Logan and Rory. After Rory declined his proposal and moved away, I don’t see how a reasonable guy would go back. I hope it’s Luke and Lorelai.

As much as I am hopeful it’s one of the Gilmores, it could just as easily be a wedding of a guest at the Dragonfly and story happens around that. Believe me, I do hope it’s a major character, but I would read too much into this yet.

I am hoping it is something off the wall like Ms. Patty whipping Taylor into line and putting a ring on it! I always thought if they balanced out it would be perfect. Other weddings like Sookie and Jackson’s and Lane and Zach’s brought huge realizations to the girls. And they are filming to June and I personally believe every leak is with purpose. I think it is a tease!

Jess, I hope it’s Jess. He’s really the only one that challenged Rory, intellectually and there’s that mysterious unrequited love. I know high school Jess had some growing up to do, but he’s the one that talked Rory into going back to Yale. “I know you Rory and this isn’t you” and it wasn’t her- that was Jess! Logan is very much like the life her mom worked hard to get away from trust fund baby, ick-I don’t see Rory that way.

The prop reveal isn’t even really that major. It could be for a flashback sequence involving Lorelai and Luke. Or how about for a wedding at the Dragonfly Inn – Lorelai would throw weddings all the time, it doesn’t have to be for anyone we know. I think we’re all so desperate for news we’re reading too much into little details. Providing its not a Rory/Logan wedding, I’m good with anything.

A bettter question might actually be ‘What on earth is that thing?!’ Such an object isn’t really suited for a wedding for either Lorelai or Rory.

Maybe the fact that in the original series, the episode where Rory and Logan first meet, is called: “Written In The Stars”, is a clue? I really hope they will end up together.

Why do so many people have a fixation with Jess?? Y’all must be in the under 25 demographic and not over the rebellious, anti establishment types yet. I would be super surprised if Rory ended up with Jess. The biggest reason being that if Luke and Lorelai are indeed finally married, it would be cheesy as hell for Rory to end up with Luke’s nephew. I mean, seriously. I don’t think ASP is cheesy like that. Secondly, does anyone remember that Rory graduated from Yale??? As in an Ivy League institution? Did Jess ever even finish high school? That alone puts Rory on a different level than Jess. He was a good friend to Rory and a necessary wake up call in season 6, but she’s outgrown him the same way she did Dean. She will end up with someone who has similar academic credentials to her own. And if she is did make it as a foreign correspondent or her career is about to really take off, so you really see Jess being part of her world? Can you see him attending a network function and standing by her side at all the necessary events and social obligations that would come along with her success? Probably not. And Rory does like that kind of thing. Remember in “Friday Nights All Right for Fighting” when she was arguing with Emily, adamant about keeping her DAR membership? The girl likes keeping a foot in high society, much more than her mother ever did. I can’t see her destined for a junior Luke.

Given Scott Patterson’s tweet to Lauren Graham about being excited for Friday, which also happens to be 3/18 as per the photo, I feel like it’s pretty safe to say it’s an LL wedding. Michael Winters also got spoiler bleeped about how he “_____ the _____,” which may well be “officiates the wedding.”

Thank you Gabbie, I thought about Emily getting remarried, causing conflict with daughter and granddaughter as they miss their father/grandfather having a hard time seeing Emily with someone else. Of course they will be happy for her in the end. It could also be a flash-back of Lorelai and Luke’s wedding. As for being under 25 and rooting for Jess, nope – pushing 50. But has voted for him for a long time. He gets Rory like no one else. He’s very smart but didn’t have an easy growing up with his Mum. Never had a chance really. Only 2 people really stood up for him and gave him a chance – Luke and Rory. She believed in him and he believed in her. He knew he screwed up when running away and didn’t know how to fix it then, but I believe he has figured it out by now. And I bet he’s a famous writer, that challenges Rory intellectually. She can’t outsmart him, they are equals in brains. I always thought Rory was to smart for Logan. I don’t think Jess is a junior Luke anymore. How ever the story goes, I have faith in Amy. She will do the best with and for our beloved girls. So happy they are back!!!!

@Sweden – well I guess if Rory and Luke are the only ones to give him a chance he should be with Luke too! Flawed logic here. Friends believe in each other too. There’s no denying Rory and Jess have a bond, but it’s really more a good friendship than anything else. They are definately not equals in brains – Jess read a lot, great. Logan got into Yale – regardless of money, that’s impressive. He could keep up with Rory in a way Dean and jess never could.

Some of my thoughts on this revival-
I think that this revival won’t feature a Rory and __ wedding in it. While yes, the romantic relationships are central to the plot, the most important factor to the story is the dynamic between Emily, Lorelai, and Rory, as they navigate their individual, and together lives. Therefore, I think that this will either be used for one of Lorelei’s Dragonfly Inn’s events, and the people are teasing us, OR, Luke and Lorelei’s wedding will be shown in flashbacks, giving us a hint at their happiness without spending an entire episode on it.
Also, I’m one of the rare people that isn’t solely team Jess or team Logan (Even though Dean is… No. Just no). I just want to see Rory with someone who is intellectual, invested in her, and mature. If Logan OR Jess returns in this revival as a nice, easily approved man, that Rory wants to be with, let them be the person. A lot of men tend to be kind of immature until they reach their mid to late twenties, and are able to find a stable career, and learn to handle themselves in a mature way. So, you have to account that both men have probably changed in ways that viewers might not expect.
Personally, I want to see it look like this – Luke and Lorelai have both learned their lessons, and have both reached a point in their lives where they are married (FINALLY) and perhaps have a child or two. This shows Lorelai as a mature, happily married, and successful career woman, having reached stability at long last. I believe we should start the revival with Rory kicking some serious butt on this years 2016 campaign trail, because come on! If you are Republican, or Democrat, there is plenty of material for a reporter to talk about. :D I think she’ll start of just casually dating, not really interested in men. For the main story line, I think it should start with all of the main family members getting a distraught call from Emily, telling them that Richard has died. This will serve as a drawing force, bringing Rory back home. Since Luke is related to Jess, and they are both part of the family, Jess will arrive at Richard’s funeral. Reasonably, Logan will also attend, as the Gilmore’s and the Huntzberger’s were quite intertwined. This will also serve as an understandable way to get Christopher and April back into the picture. Still grieving from the loss of her near father figure Rory will reject both Jess and Logan, but as she lingers in Stars Hollow with her Mother and Step father, she will see how happy they are and finally end with an accepted proposal from one of them, ready to start a family household of her own.
Random things I’d love to see- Kirk as a father to a host of mini Kirk clones. Taylor training Kirk to be the new town selectmen. Lane as the most amazing, rock and roll, but still christian mother to her two boys. April as a brilliant scientist major in college, increasing the girl power in this series. Lastly, more and more Kirk, as he is a priceless, hilarious, crazy addition that I CANNOT wait to see again. :)

Am I the only one who’s hoping this is for Michel’s wedding? Of course I want to see Lorelai and Luke together, but it would be weird if they weren’t married by now (ok, flashbacks are possible). I hope Rory doesn’t get married; she’s still young, and I’ve always loved her independence. Like Lorelai, she’s had various relationships over the years, but they’ve never been at the center of her identity. But Michel! Because (I think we all assume) the character wasn’t allowed to be gay on the WB version of the show (yeah, I know, there were a couple awkward references to “the ladies,” but come on! The sassiness, the love of Céline, the impeccably on-trend fashions), we’ve never gotten to see Michel find love, other than with his chows. A Michel wedding would be the perfect opportunity to bring everyone to town, would undoubtedly be a source of hilarious-yet-touching moments, and would give us a little more insight into a beloved but slightly stunted-by-censorship character.

This is a very ornate prop. It doesn’t seem like it would fit the “style” of a Luke, Jess, or Dean wedding. It feels more like Emily Gilmore or the Huntzbergers. If the plans for a wedding are to happen within a one year time frame, and if the wedding is to be Rory’s the only man she knows well enough to marry is Logan. The other guys were teenage boys when she knew them.

It can’t be Luke and Lorelia’s wedding. In an interview with Lauren Graham she’s asked: How much time picks up when we start the first episode?
Lauren: It’s real time. I’m not trying to pretend I’m 34 anymore. We are where we are, and all this time has passed.

When you think about it, for Luke and Lorelia to not be married 10 years later kind of dampens the spark! I believe that they are married with kid/s and the wedding [if there is a wedding as they released fake photos to distract us from the real plot] then it will be based around Rory & _______. Im anxious just as the next person but Lauren made it very clear that it’s natural time. April Nardini (Vannessa Marano) is 22 years old, Rory will be in her thirties, Luke & Lorelia heading 50’s, (they will be 48 to be exact)! So keep realism in mind when predicting the plot. And beware there are fake photographic spoilers out there!!!

If Rory is a mini Lorelia and follows her patterns then Max = Dean (nice guy), Luke = Jess (hard working, not educated), Chris = Logan (wealthy, snobbish). Just a thought.
