New Stars Hollow Set Photos

Share

There are some beautiful new images of Stars Hollow, newly rebuilt for the Gilmore Girls revival, Gilmore Girls: Seasons. As with past set photos, they give us a glimpse into how much things have both changed and stayed the same in Stars Hollow.

These photos focus a great deal on the interior of the Dragonfly Inn and there’s even a large painting / photo of Richard Gilmore, though it was not completely framed or in place on any set yet. I’m curious about where they will hang such a large portrait.

The photos come to us via Alyssainmymind on Tumblr, with credit to Kathleen Ann.

How can that huppah be used for anyone except for Luke and Lorelei?

I took one look at Richard Gilmore (Edward Herrmann) in the above image and instantly started crying. He will be so profoundly missed; such a great actor, such a great voice, such a great man. He is dearly missed. I am a thirty-two-year-old man. Men in my age group aren’t usually known for watching “Gilmore Girls” (as far as I know or just aren’t bold enough to admit to it) but I do indeed, sincerely love this show. I am Biblical Christian and inherently, naturally appreciate the Fairer Sex. But, I learned (believe it or not) to appreciate women ‘even more’ by watching this amazing show. Women naturally talk really fast but this show helped me to keep up and it has been very helpful. Hee hee. No one can say I am not a great listener. ;) I also learned to better understand their world, their language, their knowledge of things, and also observe just how passionate they are about the things they talk about, even if at times it is nonsense (at least to we men). In real-life I have a great deal in common with Rory because I love to read and self-educate. I was born in April 1984 whilst Rory the character was born in October 1984. This might sound strange but I use to have dreams where I was Rory’s lost-lost twin brother. (I am brown-haired, blue-eyed, and lighter-skinned just like her). I even came up with a sort-of believable tale of what happened to me and why I wasn’t a part of Lorelai and Rory’s world. For example, Rory was raised a Gilmore and I was raised a Hayden. I use to watch out for clues in the show that would make “my story” plausible. I know it sounds dumb; I guess that is what happens when fans get far too devoted to their shows. Ha ha. But, seriously though, Gilmore Girls is amazing and I am super-excited for it to come back. O, the wait! O, the suspense! By the way, I am all far a Rory and Jess reunion. I would love for that pair to make it work out. I trust Jess has grown-up and gotten his life together. Perhaps now he is an author and has a better relationship with his mother, step-father, and estranged father. I suppose we will have to see if there are any hints to any of that even if we don’t see the aforementioned three characters right away in this revival. I really hope that beyond these “four seasons” episodes that funding and demand brings back this show with another full 22-episode season. Of course, with ratings and logistics, we will have to see if that will even be considered. It’s really uncommon for former long-running shows to come back at all, but thankfully this one has. Oh, hey, Pretty Little Liars films its fictional Rosewood town on the same Burbank backlot. If season six of P.L.L. has finished wrapping then that would make sense for “Gilmore Girls: Seasons” to be able to once again have full use of ‘the town.’ Of what we have been able to see thus far, the Inn and other places look really great. It is so nice to see familiar spaces. [Sighs of elation]. The Inn especially still has that comfortable, relaxing, and elegant appeal. I wish I was there! If anyone is interested in getting high-quality leather-bound volumes, check out Easton Press on the Internet. I wish the crew and the cast a great deal of fun and I trust they will most assuredly enjoy their reunion and getting back to work. Thank you Netflik for agreeing to air one of our favorite shows! Yea!!! P.S. Rory should live in the house she grew up in and Luke and Lorelai (hopefully married) should live in the Twickham House. Just my opinion. One more thing, I really liked that antique furniture Luke brought to Lorelai’s house after the renovation! (Notice that I talk too much, too?!) Wink wink. “And by the way, “bloaty” is ‘not’ a word. There’s “bloated,” there’s “bloating,” but no ‘bloaty.'” Okay, take a breath now. (Inhales in, exhales out). [Like a Gilmore]: Alright, so the votes on Super Tuesday and their results should be revealed sometime this evening and we will learn if Donald Trump has gained more victories in all of these states and whether the remaining candidates on the Republican side should soon after drop their candidacies or agree to stay the course which if you ask me may not be to their advantage because they haven’t gained a significant number of delegates necessary to maintain momentum. “The weird thing is he’s been in that head under that velvet cloth this whole time.” [Out of air. Inhales, exhales]. ;)
