It was recently announced that Sutton Foster would be making a guest appearance on the Gilmore Girls revival, Gilmore Girls: Seasons. Previously alluding to the fact that Gilmore Girls is her “favourite show of all time,” she began filming her guest role this past week (and her tweet with Lauren Graham was so cute!).
In the current issue of People magazine, Sutton Foster shares that the experience makes her “brain explode”
“This is where my brain explodes: I go from supernerdy superfan to on-set talking to Lorelai Gilmore.
It was my favorite show of all time. I was totally obsessed with it. When they told me it got rebooted for Netflix and they were writing a part for me, I texted Lauren Graham and said, ‘We’re finally going to be working together. There will be tears.’”
Sutton’s role on Gilmore Girls has been kept top secret, but Sutton shares it is a “smaller part” featured in only one of the episodes. I wonder if she could be a part of the International Spring Food Festival, as that just screams opportunities for funky characters, don’t you think?!
Sutton was star in Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino’s short-lived series, Bunheads, and current stars in the Younger series.
