Gilmore Girls Actors Spread the Love

The Gilmore Girls revival for Netflix, Gilmore Girls: Seasons, has been filming for a couple of weeks ago. Since we were first notified of the return of the series, not only were fans excited, but the actors as well. All through the process, actors have been sharing what an amazing experience it has been to be back on set and to meet up with old friends – with family, as such a tight-night group of actors become. Now, we have more insight of the love on set of Gilmore Girls!

First, as news from on-set trickles out, we have this adorable conversation between Lauren Graham (Lorelai) and Sutton Foster, who will be guest starring on Gilmore Girls and who began filming today:

Yanic Truesdale (Michel) shared this photo of himself with Jared Padalecki (Dean), who recently came back to film his scenes for Gilmore Girls. We thought he was only there one day, but perhaps this means that Jared has a longer part? (#TeamDean?)

The caption reads: “Dean AKA @jaredpadalecki and Michel hanging out between takes. I missed that guy! #gilmoregirls #netflix”

Yanic was also responsible for the first on-set photo, the adorable shot of himself and Lauren Graham. So, thanks Yanic!

Previously, Lauren Graham shared her feelings, saying it “felt amazing” to be back in “the house.” Scott Patterson shared what an “amazing vibe” the actors had together, all aiming for the same goal in bringing Gilmore Girls back to life. Vanessa Marano shared how “mind-blowing” it was to reunite with the cast. Danny Strong had nothing but positive feelings for being back on set, particularly working with Liza Weil again. And perhaps Kelly Bishop sums our feelings up most perfectly, saying it’s a “delicious” experience to be bringing these back to life.

I think Yanic must have held that photo back from Friday. Jared was spotted by fans in Austin on Monday and AFAIK he’s due back in Vancouver to shoot Supernatural today. Nice picture, though!
