Jackson Will Return to Stars Hollow… But What About Sookie?

Share

We can take one name off our list of missing actors from Gilmore Girls! Jackson Douglas, who played Jackson Belleville and husband to our beloved Sookie, is returning to Stars Hollow for the Netflix revival, Gilmore Girls: Seasons

Jackson himself announced the news on Twitter today:

“I got my GG script today!  Hooray!  Hey that rhymes!”

Of course, the news that Jackson will be returning has us asking even more fervently: Where is Sookie??!!

There has still been no news about the possible return of Melissa McCarthy. Melissa says she was not invited, though Amy Sherman-Palladino previously expressed interest in having her for even a short role. Despite the good intentions there, it’s clear that Sookie was not written into the script as a major role.

And we have SO many questions about the revealing photo of Sookie & Jackson’s house… perhaps, with the confirmation of Jackson’s return, that offers us some clues?? Could Sookie be away in the UK, but Jackson still be holding down the fort? Or could they be, eek, divorced?

Gilmore girls cant get started

That’s good news, I’m glad Jackson will be back. I’m really hoping Sookie makes an appearance of some sort though.

Sookie could be mentioned in passing, & Lorelai could talk to her on the phone, but Sookie could be so busy at the Dragonfly that she is never seen.

Haha, I'm laughing with you Katie, not at you If you only knew the bizarre things that happen to me when I try to do things that others find simple. I wonder if it was the Disqus comment system that tripped you up? It can be confusing at first. I like it because you can have comments that th/eadrstack below each other to keep track of who is saying what. But that sign up thing is a pain in the keister. Sorry it gave you grief, but you'll get the hang of everything.

This is a great site you have here. I have a humor blog myself and I would like to exchange links with you. Let me know if this is possible. Until then, I look forward to reading some more of your posts. Take care.
