The Good Wife is one of my favourite shows on television right now. Even though I began watching it to follow the career of Matt Czuchry, and cover it for GilmoreNews, it’s remained one of the strongest television shows out there. I was delighted this week to see a familiar face on the series!
I practically cheered out loud to see Kelly Bishop, our beloved Emily Gilmore, in the same frame as Matt Czuchry, who played Logan Huntzberger on Gilmore Girls and has created a lead role for himself on The Good Wife as Cary Agos.
Kelly Bishop had a guest role as Bea Wilson, a client of Lockhart-Agos who is switching to the Florrick-Quinn firm. I put that wrong, she’s firing Lockhart-Agos for going against her personal beliefs, which is oh so Emily Gilmore. She is a pro-choice advocate, and a super strong female character who reminds me oh-so-much of Emily Gilmore, right down to the jacket she wore on the show. I hope she has a repeat appearance (the plot left that to be a likely occurrence).
