    Hi Arieanna-

Can’t say I am too suprised by the Parenthood snub [the Leno jinx strikes again] as it is hard for a solid but nonspectacular show to grab a top-five nomination when there is so much good going on dramatically, particularly on the cable channels. On another topic, any thoughts about opening up a commentary thread for viewers who have now had a few weeks to see Alexis’ new movie [The Good Guy] on DVD. Hope you have had a chance to view this as well. I thought it was very good.

Too bad that Parenthood didn’t get a nomination, I was hoping it would happen.

On mcityrk’s suggestion; I haven’t seen the movie yet, but I would like to read about it from people who have.

That is so well deserved for TGW.
Don’t think Parenthood has reached that level perfection… yet.

This has been an incredible year for breakthrough shows – Glee, Modern Family, The Good Wife — when that many shows are around to give nods to, it’s hard to justify giving one to Parenthood, which has a huge cast and hard to single anyone out.
