Scott Patterson‘s (Luke Danes on Gilmore Girls) new pilot series for NBC, The Event, will be coming to the Fall season on Monday nights, with the show ‘expected to get NBC’s biggest marketing push of the year.’ !!
The Event will take the 9-10pm timeslot after Chuck. The series is about an average guy who stumbles upon a secret so powerful it could change the course of humanity, and a cover-up so big that the President is on a need-to-know basis, where answers can only lead to bigger questions.

Unless I missed him, I don’t think Scott Patterson is in the pilot. That said, the show looks waaaaay better than I expected!!
I don’t know about this preview. It was definitely annoying in the way it didn’t seem to tell us *anything* — so I guess it’s effective. I’m curious, but also kind of eh. It didn’t get exciting til the end and the whole “—- is not the event” tagline was more irritating than curiosity-provoking. Cinematography wasn’t so great either. However, props for casting a black actor as President! But unless Scott pops up I don’t think I’ll be watching. Hopefully the show is way better than the preview, or it probably won’t last.

So this means Scott and Lauren will be on the same network! And Melissa (hopefully) will be on CBS with Matt.
David Sutcliffe’s show with Debra Messing did not get picked up (for now). So we wait to see about the Wyoming Project?

It doesn’t look so bad. That Mr Cyr guy from Parenthood is also in it… or his doppelganger. It looked and sounded like him.
Apart from being interesting, it seems really a supper TV production. Hope the character find his disappeared wife.
