Discussion & Full Video [Spoilers, Photos, Video Trailer]

Wow, this was an action packed episode! There were sweet and funny moments (Adam dancing!) as well as really touching moments (the ‘poop song’) as well as completely realistic parenting moments (the vase / lying incident). I think this was my favorite episode yet.

I thought the way that Crosby and Jasmine’s relationship was evolving was very touching. I think Crosby has grown up a lot, but I worry he’s going to rebel at some point, don’t you?

Adam – glad he fessed up on the double standard, but could you blame him? OK, yeah, he was overreacting and storming up to Haddie’s boyfriend’s room was a bad idea… but was it? What was a 15-year-old-girl doing in her boyfriend’s room with the door closed? Uh, hello?! I’ve been a 15-year-old-girl and that was not smart of his parents.

Let’s move on. I think I was kind of tickled about the whole Julia vs her daughter plotline. I wonder who she got that from, hey? Very cute.

Last but not least, Amber and Sarah (Lauren Graham). First Amber: I really hope she does go to college, but when is it going to come to the surface that she didn’t take her SATs? Next, Sarah… when she saw Jim recite his poetry in front of an audience, I could see she was impressed. He did look a lot better and had a lot of respect – and maybe she remembered how sweet he was. And how mature as opposed to Amber’s teacher. So, uh oh on that front. But, Amber tied it up neatly when Jim recited his poem about Sarah: “I think it might be about your vag.” Enough said.

Last scene with Sarah… I hope she believes in herself!!

  1. forg says:

Sarah is so anti-Rory with her “I don’t want to go college” while Rory was so eager to go to college.
Adam dancing was so goofy and dorky but he was really overreacting with the bra thing but Haddie shouldn’t paraded her bra while in the house. But she did raise a good point about double standard. I love Jabar’s dilemma I was also like that when I was a kid, was so uncomfortable to take a poo outside our house.

    Very strong episode
