Matt Czuchry Enjoying “The Good Wife”

9th Annual Lili Claire Foundation Benefit Hosted by Matthew Perry - Arrivals

Matt Czuchry (Logan Huntzberger on Gilmore Girls) recently gave an interview about his experience on The Good Wife, which will return with regular episodes on April 27th. Though the last couple of episodes have no featured much of Matt’s character, Cary, the returning episodes go into battle between Alicia & Cary – with the “gloves coming off,” says Matt.

On April 27th, the firm’s former partner will try to lure Cary to his firm, and given Cary’s ambitious nature, I’m sure he’ll consider it!

“We’ve seen from the very beginning that he’s ambitious and willing to do what it takes to get to the top,” Czuchry says of Cary. “I think this episode highlights that aspect of him a little bit more, his trying to win that spot (in the firm).”

Matt says he knew he may only have a short time on the series, based on the rivalry between Cary & Alicia playing out, though we have heard that he’ll be back for Season 2 already!

And one more little gem relates to Matt comparing his Good Wife character, Cary, to his Gilmore Girl character, Logan:

“I feel a lot of the separation between those characters has to do with the age difference. Cary is much more mature in his focus and ambition.”

Do you think there are similarities between Cary & Logan?

“The Good Wife” stared airing here in germany a couple of weeks ago. And I must say, I enjoy the show quite a lot. Matt plays an interresting character, no matter how unapologetic he may be, it’s hard to really hate him.
