Many of us have been sitting on the edge of our seats waiting for the return of The Good Wife and the promised climax between Alicia (Julianna Margulies) and Cary, played by Matt Czuchry (Logan Huntzberger on Gilmore Girls). The two characters are battling it out for the “single” associate position at the firm – obviously Alicia isn’t going anywhere, so many of us have been quite anxious about Cary’s fate!

The series returns with new episodes on April 6th, and Ausiello has some sort-of spoilers for us!

Please tell me you have some information on Matt Czuchry’s fate on The Good Wife! I hear Cary [spoiler alert]! —Karen
Ausiello: While it’s true that Cary [spoiler alert], a Good Wife insider assures me that Matt Czuchry will be back for season 2. In other words, Cary will most likely [spoiler alert], which would make him an even bigger [spoiler alert] to [spoiler alert]. I’ve said too much!

What do you think this means?? And YAY, I’m SO glad to hear that Matt Czuchry will be around for Season 2! He’s really filled out the role of Cary to be a great character, don’t you think?

YESS! Matt is a terrific actor and we are really loving Cary on TGW. We all knew Alicia would win this “competition” so it will be great to see Cary on his own and getting more court and screen time. All of the characters on TGW are realistically flawed. No one is all good or all bad. And that said it is totally obvious that Cary has been treated unfairly in the “competition” by Will especially. But that’s one of the things that makes this show great. It is very realistic with the characters. We are just thrilled that Matt will be back. We absolutely love him.
