Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore on Gilmore Girls) is getting a lot of buzz lately for her movies. After announcing the poster for Post Grad earlier this month, I’m pleased to announce that her other film, The Good Guy, will be premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival!
The Good Guy follows the story of rising Wall Street star Tommy (Scott Porter), a man who appears to have everything he could want in life, including a beautiful girlfriend, Beth (Alexis Bledel). However, when he tries to pass his seduction and money-making skills onto a co-worker Daniel (Bryan Greenberg), it could come back to haunt him. Beth becomes the target for the newly-learned wiles of seduction. The movie looks at the culture of Wall Street and what it means to be ‘good’ in that world.
The film was written and directed by Julio DePietro, will make its world premiere at Tribeca. The festival will be held from April 22-May 3rdwith Alexis’ new film making its premiere on April 26th. The Good Guy has been entered in the Encounters section, which highlights films from established talent with crowd-pleasing topics. Stay tuned to the new website for The Good Guy for news.

Pretty good opportunity for the “girls” to trade off showing support for each others projects as well!!
I prefer her Post Grad than this one but whatever ANYTHING that has Alexis is absolutely & definitely watchable for me!

IMO, Bryan Greenberg looks much better in every way than Scott Porter and w/ that; BG could be more apt that Alexis ends up w/ him in the movie.
Hopefully that both of her latest film would really turn out well (most esp. the PostGrad since she’s the lead star in there) coz as we all know that “successfull movies begets more movie offers & promising acting career”.
