Samantha Who? Delayed Return

Samantha Who? (starring Gilmore Girls’ Melissa McCarthy with Christina Applegate and Jennifer Esposito) was originally scheduled to come back from the holiday break with episode ‘The Rock Star‘ on January 12, 2009. That date was delayed to the 19th then to the 26th and finally ABC announced that it would not return until March 26th at a new day and time – Thursdays at 8:30.

This scheduling change will boot the remainder of the Ugly Betty season until sometime around June, which puts that show outside the regular season.

Samantha Who? will be paired up on the new Thursday lineup with the brand new Megan Mullally & Cheryl Hines comedy, In the Motherhood. This could end up being a very strong hour-long comedy block. Though I’m sad it’ll be a while before we get our Samantha Who? fix again!
