Discussion Questions:

  • Do you think they made Paul Anka too eccentric? Why?
  • Is Logan’s surprise return a good indication of how serious he is about Rory?
  • Did you feel like Rory was more mature in her love for Logan in this episode?
  • What do you think about Sherry’s letter? Is she sincere? If so, why never call?
  • Bringing Sherry back into the picture as a better mom – was that a writing tool to contrast Christopher to Luke in similar situations?
  • Do you think Christopher brought Lorelai the letter knowing how badly Luke had hurt her after hiding April?
  • Do you think letting Logan work in new media, versus newspapers, made him more happy with his career? Why do you think his dad let him do this?
  • Is Rory taking Richard’s class just because he’s teaching it?
  • Why is Lorelai still avoiding Luke if she’s moved on?
  • Are you surprised Taylor didn’t want to pay for the pickle cleanup? Wouldn’t he be worried about town image?
  • Should Chris send Gigi to Paris? Or, is Lorelai right, is it better if Chris goes too?
  • Why didn’t Lorelai share her concerns about Gigi going to Paris with the nanny?
  • Is Rory giving Paris preferential treatment by handing her the paper for the night?
  • Is Lorelai bringing Christopher back to the Gilmore house too soon. Does that signal something too serious?
  • Should Logan have told Rory that Bobby was a girl?
  • When Lorelai shares her concerns, she doesn’t get far into explaining them before she gives up. Did she feel stonewalled from giving her explanation?
  • Was Bobby being patronizing to Rory?
  • Did Lorelai misread Chris’ reaction when she told him she understood was not Sherry?
  • Was Rory’s fit of jealousy good for their relationship? More solidifying, in a way?
  • Why does Chris ask Lorelai to Paris? How did their fight end so easily, if it was a fight?
  • What do you think about the "family" moment that Lorelai, Chris and Rory have in the car with the music choices?

  2. Jennifer says:

Lorelai is still avoiding luke because it is still weird in a sense their relationship

i like the song moment at the end of the episode. I think it shows them as a family together sharing a nice moment

  3. Jeremy says:

Season 7 was the worst season of them all

  4. Jessica King says:

  7. Jeremy says:

Still The worst Season ever It’s right up their with Charmed the last season.American Idol the 3 seasons

  8. Lisa says:

I know this isn’t for this episode, but I always hated how they changed how Mia’s character looked from her appearance in the beginning seasons to her wedding in the seventh season. She looks a lot younger in the 7th season, and her personalty has changed. I know it is probaly a different actor, but they could have made her look more similiar to the original Mia character

  9. Lara Joy says:

I agree that the 7th season was the worst one. I actually want to see the 7th season of Amy Sherman – Palladino. It went all down. I want the real Gilmore Girls back and at least a few more seasons. But I understand Amy that she wants to be there 100% or not at all. I love GG and it’s never out off style. It should come back oneday with a few more seasons. Amy’s new show got cancelled so why she should do only a movie. She has time now, so she has time to do a few more seasons. It’s really not possible to put all what could happen in a movie. We need at least 4 more seasons to see that. It’s true… the show got cancelled too many seasons too soon.

loved that episode. i thought it was uber cute.
i also thought the “song family moment” at the end was cute. but i HATE HATE HATE chris.
    i LOVEEEE luke!

i disagree that the 7th season was the worst. none of the gilmore girls seasons were bad.
