This episode focused on Sam’s realization that she does not remember sex, and how to approach her second ‘first time.’ So, we go round the circle of friends and family within the ‘first time’ theme – their advice and memories. I have to say, Melissa McCarthy looks beautiful in this episode. She is not in as many scenes, but still plays her part well. Love how quirky she is.

This is a bit more of an explicit episode, so my highlights are behind the jump.

Highlights of the episode:

Asking a woman with amnesia "Do we know each other?" is a loaded question
Sam’s memory of dating is gone (not just sex). She has no idea she’s being hit on! Or what ‘going back to my place’ infers.
Sam’s mom throwing out her ‘sentimental’ kids stuff since Sam doesn’t remember them anyway
Sex has a code name: "the happy touch"
Sam’s dad finding out he was not his wife’s "first"
Dena (Melissa McCarthy) and Andrea trying to describe sex, and ending up just saying it’s like sex.
Andrea: "It tastes nothing like chicken" Dena: "Most of the time"
Dena advocating waiting for the right guy, and Andrea advocating jumping into it
Dena inferring her first time included waking up with cotton candy on her back and a long walk home

Dena recommending a birthday boy (just turned 21) who would be perfect due to ‘ignorance and gratitude’
Sam caving to the pressure and jumping the birthday boy for a kiss… and then some. Well, at least until she arrived at his dorm room. He wants her as his first because he thinks she knows what she’s doing! Both were pressured into having sex!
Sam realizing who her ‘first’ should be with… someone with history. A friend who cares… and remembering her first time with Todd. New goal: sleep with Todd.
Todd has company… so much for that
Sam getting back on the (actual) bike.
