Melissa McCarthy went to watch ‘Dancing with the Stars’ recently, and was spotted by AOL TVs reporter. He gets her to dish on every Gilmore Girls fan’s top question – will there be a Gilmore Girls movie?
Speaking of great shows, is there any chance that there might be a movie version of McCarthy’s last series ‘Gilmore Girls?’ "I keep hearing that (‘Gilmore’ creator) Amy (Sherman-Palladino) has been approached to do a movie, but I have no idea," McCarthy responded. "I do think it’d be fun."
Way to go! Another one on board! Yay for Sookie.
Melissa also says of ‘Samantha Who?’:
McCarthy agrees: "This show has renewed my faith that you can get something on the air that’s funny. Every time we get a script, we laugh so hard!"

I really think they should make a GG movie to show how luke and lorelai are doing did they get married and how is rory doing now that she has been out on the job and maybe this is just me but i thought it would be great if rory got back with dean
No. I don’t think they should do a movie. That’s just weird… they should have continued the show. I miss it. I loved that show…. but, what I really want to comment on is how Melissa McCarthy could take such a low self-esteem role on Samantha Who, when she came from that bubbley, full of confidence, loud, funny, nice character of Sookie St. James…. don’t get me wrong, i’m glad she’s on tv again, but why with the typical “big girl, shy, low self-esteem, has no bf” role??
i dont think they should make a GG move because,its just not the same as the series!It would be great though,if they did one more season,so we know if rory and logan fix things,and if lorelai and luke stay together! i really want another season to settle it all!!!!!!!!!!
