This episode of Samantha Who? was all about trust and friendship. About trusting your spouse. Trusting your friend. Trusting in change. Melissa McCarthy played a big role in the episode, and I was very happy to see that. Her unexpected kiss of Todd was very un-Sookie, but she has defined a whole new lovable friend character.

Highlights of the episode:

• Sam screaming "I’m sorry" into her answering machine
• Sam finding out she’s supposed to be a bridesmaid that day
• Dena (Melissa McCarthy) going as Sam’s "date"
• Dena: "If I die tomorrow, I will be a happy girl. Unless it’s something painful, or slow, like being dragged by a train."
• The bride tossing water on Sam – apparently Sam was dis-invited
• Sam tries to apologize and learns that she’s used the ‘amnesia’ excuse before
• Sam hurting Dena inadvertently by going to sit with the ‘cool’ friend again
• Dena kissing Todd when she’s drunk
• Sam bringing up the bride’s indiscretion during her toast. But hey, they were all cheating!
