[...] Episode 7.18: Hay Bale MazeAir date April 17, 2007Lorelai, Rory, Logan and Michel go to Spring Fling in a bus rented by the Inn. Logan and a skeptical kid, afraid the maze is a trap, go through the hay maze together. April gives Luke a bracelet that is supposed to symbolize the Apache tradition to ‘aim more true’. Rory is on a train back from Providence, very happy. The Troudabour makes his return. Rory is glad Lorelai is getting to know Logan… Luke and Lorelai apologize for the things that broke them up. "I was possessed by some evil spirit when I slept with Christopher." There is a town meeting. There are six chairs set at the Gilmore Friday Night Dinner. Rory brings Logan to town for the Spring Fling festival. Lorelai worries Rory and Logan are too serious and that Logan is too irresponsible. She and Logan talk. Taylor spent the whole festival budget on the maze. Lorelai and Luke meet unexpectedly in the maze and apologize for the mistakes in their past (in a calm way). Rory has a job interview with the Providence Journal-Bulletin. If she gets it, she must decide if she wants to walk away from the Reston Fellowship at the NY Times. Rory is sad because i think logan broke up with her or she broke up with him!!!!!!!
Why is LG so pale in this pictures? She looks so unhealty I think. And those strange red fingernails… I don´t like her look. Don´t get me wrong, she is still really really beautiful but a bit of a tan looks better on her. And I can´t get over her nails…
And did you recognize? The “Westons Cup” is soooo big in this picture and “Westons” points direktly into the camera, this has to mean something. Maybe it´s the last cup of Westons Coffee ever ;-)
Looks like a good episode not missing it. it looks like one of those episode that will change the whole lorelai and luke thing.

In that second picture she is gazing at something. it could be luke or someone else in the town but her eyes are deffinetly in an intent gaze.

I think Lorelai looks the prettiest she has all season! I actually think she looks better more pale than tan. But why does she have to be holding a WESTON’S coffee cup…

I like her fair complexion, btw ;) It’s very rare that s.o. has bright blue eyes, fair skin AND dark hair.

I may be wrong, but isn’t one of the spoilers for this episode that Logan goes through the maze with a kid? So maybe he gets along really well with children and Rory is afraid that he will want to settle down and have a family. And that would be in the way of her having a career for awhile. Plus, who knows if she ever wants to have children…she was pretty freaked out in Season 5 I believe when Sookie was going to have her baby girl.
i definitly dont agree on that perfect picture comment. i hate logan. im glad their relationship is on the way down! WOOO HOO!
just read in a local Detroit area newspaper entitled “A look at life on the bubble in TV land”. by Dusty Saunders of Scripps Howard News Service, regarding TV shows sweating out the possibility that they might be cancelled. He runs the gamut from ABC on thru to The CW and, specifically, Gilmore Girls: “The Series will return only if Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel sign new contracts”. End of blurb.

“Oh yeah and on the tour we saw the party clothes for the extras and they were filming at Ms. Patty’s. We also Sean Gunn, Mr. Doose (because I can’t think of his name), Ms. Patty, and Lauren Graham. I could only see the bottom portion of the clothes they had them covered up so that they wouldn’t get dirty, but they looked like fancy clothes but I’m not 100% sure. I just know the tour guide pointed them out as we were passing by.”
And Hannah, I half agree with you. I completely agree with the Luke and Lorelai part, but the Logan thing is the half part. I love Logan and I think he is perfect for Rory, but I am smack in the middle of “It’s a good thing” and “It’s a bad thing” for their break up.
Oh, and just a little side note I thought I would add in. Dave Rosenthal wrote “Hay Bale Maze”. So, thanks to him, Lorelai and Luke are clearing the air. It probably would have happened eventually, but thanks to him, it is happening 7 days, 20 hours, and 21 minutes from this post, at least in crazy-internet-people time. (They added countdowns to each episode on their site)
Logan is boring.
Anyone can pick the rich person. Yeah it’s probably what most people would do…but it’s boring to watch. It would be more romantic if Rory got back with Dean.
I love the pic of Logan, rory and Loralei. They look like a family in that pic. I hope if there is another season that they will bring Rory and Logan back together. I am so sad they are breaking up

While it’s not SUPER important (I don’t think) the ausiello report says that Lauren requested some rewrites of the final episode of the series/season finale. No word yet on if this is it yet…this is getting kinda ridiculous.
I’m so disappointed that this is happening…they don’t have enough time to wrap up the show…and if they don’t even know if it’s coming back yet, how can they do a proper finale??? *sigh* if nothing else, if the show isn’t coming back, i want a 2 hour season finale and i want it wrapped up properly.

“DR and the other writers have known for awhile now whether or not a season 8 was going to occur.”
Then, here is a recap of the latest TV Guide Vodcast. He explains the rumor that Lauren sent back the script of the finale because of “her hatred for Scott”-
“All MA has to say it that LG requested the change so that the scene would be more emotional.Just that it involved more characters and was not L/L specific. Can’t remember the exact wording. Would have to watch it again… ETA: Right he says it is not true that they were L/L scenes and to downplay the L/L romance. And it sounds like it was scenes.. plural. And it temporarily delayed production. Did lead to a more fulfilling episode. Who knows..”

Also, there is some new stuff from a studio tour for the finale-
“Went on a tour of the WB today. They were setting up a huge “Bon Voyage Rory” party in the town square, complete with dance floor, disco balls (they replaced the bell in the gazebo with a little disco ball, lol), and a big colorful tarp covering the gazebo and entire party area. I believe it is being filmed tomorrow. Also, the guide said that Christiane Amanpour was scheduled to shoot a scene today with Rory and Lorelai at the DFI. That was where all filming was taking place today, the DFI and Lorelai’s house interior. We ran into Sally Struthers in the Gilmore Mansion. She was eating lunch with some friends at the FND table, lol. The guide didn’t want to bother them, so we walked around quietly and were leaving when she said “Hey, where are you going? Don’t you want to come say hello?” So we did, and she shook our hands and we introduced ourselves. She is so sweet and personable. Then she mentioned that they were filming the last episode of the season, and she hoped it wouldn’t be the last one of the series, and crossed her fingers. It really didn’t seem like she knew the outcome yet of a S8 decision. We said we are all crossing our fingers as well!”

I whole-heartedly agree!! Logan is not only booring but also a jerk! Noone seems to remember that! However, it would be best if she got with Jess! But I’d take Dean over logan anyday! SEASON GRE8T!!

What does that mean? They’ve known it won’t come back? Or they’ve known it will come back??
If DR has known for a while whether or not it’s coming back, and is not saying anything, then it isn’t coming back. I wonder what Amy’s thinking right about now…
i have the tv guide thing on my tv and i went a week ahead and it says: As Stars Hollow prepares for the annual Spring Fling Festival, Rory brings Logan home to see where she grew up, but there’s tension in the air between him and Lorelai.
It seems as if many people already know if there is going to be another season or not, they just can’t say anything. Who knows why. Just because they are not saying anything doesn’t mean that there will not be a season 8. The network just might want them to wait until the entire network announces their fall schedule, which will include the fate of all of the shows.
Quite honestly I am obsessed with Rory and Logan. There is just something so exciting about his character to me. I was devastated when I heard that they were going to be splitting up. I guess that it makes sense for Rory but I just really wish that there was going to be a season 8 that would see them getting back together. *tear*
I just want an 8 season!
I think that we deserve another season.
But what´s going to happen, it´s all very sorpresing.There many news but until we don´t see it we are not going to be sure of what happens.
Talking about Rory and Logan, I don´t like this couple really much, so I am not dissapointed with the posibbility of their broke up. On the other hand I wouldn´t like that she finish the show alone.Rory deserves to have a someone at her side.
We just have to wait!

My friend and I are obsessed with Rory & Logan as well – so sad, yet so true. I read a spoiler somewhere that said they were breaking up, then it was removed..So umm for those people on the other side of the world hooked on this but woefully behind (pretty sure Season 7 isnt being aired on normal TV here, and Pay TV is only on season 4 – Bless the box set dvds!!)how do you know they break up? So dont want her getting back with Dean. Rather Jess than Dean, but rather Logan than Jess!!
