Emily (Kelly Bishop) and Richard (Edward Herrmann) are delighted when Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Christopher (David Sutcliffe) attend Friday night dinner together as a couple.
Christopher reveals that Sherry has written him a letter saying she regrets leaving their daughter, GiGi (guest star Nicolette Collier), and asking him to send GiGi to visit her in Paris. Lorelai can’t believe that Chris would consider this and they get into an argument over dinner.
Logan (Matt Czuchry) returns to town on business to acquire an internet company and pays Rory (Alexis Bledel) a surprise visit. Rory is thrilled, but during a dinner with Logan’s colleagues, she realizes that she has no connection to his new business world, and is especially threatened by one of his beautiful co-workers.
Meanwhile, Stars Hollow is plagued by a terrible odor when a train with a full load of pickles derails, and Taylor (Michael Winters) refuses to pay for the cleanup.
Scott Patterson, Melissa McCarthy, Yanic Truesdale, Liza Weil and Sean Gunn also star. Michael Schultz directed the episode written by Gina Fattore.

I’ve decided that i officially love season seven. its co cute and it’s plots warm you up like a cozy blanket…i just wish rory would move on to another man. Pink hair!! so cute!!

Hmmm… why are they showing clips of Lor and Chris in Paris already?
Wait, i thought that Logan was going to be the one going to Hartford to visit/surprise Rory. Because she goes “You’re here!” And that doesnt sound like something that someone would say if they’re the one visiting. (If that even made sense) Unless Logan surprises Rory in Hatford, then takes her to London to see…Bobby… I already dont like this new character. Why would they call her a GORGEOUS OLDER WOMAN NICKNAMED THE CLOSER? The closer whaaat?
And as for the Chris and Lorelai.. why are they showing Paris clips already? I thought that was like.. in November because I thought that was where they were going to elope considering Christopher’s “I don’t want to wait anymore” speech…
At the beginning of the preview it says “This season on Gilmore Girls”…it’s not specific to the episode next Tues!
In business, being able to “close” a deal is a big deal. So, “The Closer” probably refers to her being business savvy. Let’s hope she’s not other kinds of savvy.
